Triple gold for Beemster at World Cheese Awards 2022

Beemster cheese wins again at the World Cheese Awards, which was held at the International Convention Centre Wales in Newport, last Wednesday November 2nd. Standing out from the 4434 entries, the Beemster cheeses from CONO Kaasmakers brought home several Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.

Beemster PDO Aged, Beemster PDO Royaal Grand Cru and Beemster Goat have been awarded with Golden medals at the prestigious cheese-only event. These three world class cheeses impressed the world’s leading experts in cheese.

The cheeses were judged on aspects as appearance, aroma, body and texture, with the majority of points awarded for flavor and mouthfeel.

Silver medals went to Beemster X-O-, Beemster Mild and BeemsterLite Old and Bronze was for Beemster Medium and Beemster Truffle.
