Super Gold for Beemster at the World Cheese Awards

At the annual World Cheese Awards, our Royaal Grand Cru and BeemsterLite were awarded the prestigious Super Gold! This renowned event, featuring over 4,000 entries from more than 40 countries, is the ultimate stage where the world’s finest cheeses are judged by an international panel of experts. In Viseu, Portugal, the cheeses were blind-tasted and assessed based on flavor, texture, and appearance.

Not only did BeemsterLite and Royaal Grand Cru win top prizes, but our oldest cheese, Beemster X-O-, also secured a gold medal. This fills us with pride! 

Passion and Craftsmanship
Our traditionally crafted cheese, made from the finest milk from CONO cows, impressed the jury with its distinctive flavor and character. Standing out once again among so many entries is a tremendous honor. This recognition highlights the skill and dedication of our dairy farmers and cheesemakers.
